With a great forecast, heaps of snow and a brand new bikini, I looked forward to a smashing summerski experience in the mountains!

To enhance the 80’s vibe I chose to ride my oldest Winterstick – this thing is my age, but still looks and rides fantastic! Winterstick started making snowboards in the 70’s based on the same principles todays rockerskis are made. My roundtail became a swallowtail in the late 80’s, and in the 90’s the swallowtail went BIG! A whopping 184 cms of snowboard guarantees to keep you afloat longer that any other powder tool on the market. Ever. Check out their website Winterstick.com! sommerski3Roundtailen var overraskende kjørbar.

My roundtail is surprisingly easy to ride. Here I’m cruising down towards the Geitryggtunnel, where we can go skiing until the mid of June some years. This year certainly looks good in that respect! sommerski5 Fineste slushsvingene!

Carving some nice slush-turns 🙂

Just in case you are wondering – wearing nothing but a bikini and a snowboard was actually very comfortable! I dare say I have never experienced such temperatures while skiing ever before! 😀
